We worked with Jim for just under a year, and we are so grateful for how he helped to transform our relationship. When I had my first consultation with Avril, my career had been stagnating for over a year. I was at a point where i was extremely dissatisfied and had mentally checked out, doing the bare minimum day in and day out, all the while refusing to leave my comfort zone. I was very skeptical about seeking help to navigate these issues but I was certainly proven wrong. Avril saw the problem for what it was more or less immediately and challenged me to take a step back and examine it from a different perspective, taking into account important factors I wouldn’t have dreamed of considering otherwise. Her vast experience in business coaching spoke for itself, because not only was she able to identify the problem, but also help me formulate a solution that didn’t just fit the nuances of my working style , but also me as a human being. I think in today’s world ,which is full of impersonal, one-size-fits-all solutions to problems like this, that’s something quite remarkable. If you’re feeling lost, demotivated, or stuck, as most of us may do these days, I would recommend Avril without hesitation.

I greatly appreciate the work that Olena facilitated and the tools and guidance she has given me to understand myself and others around me and find peace and love within. 

It has been life changing and I am truly grateful- so, thank you, Dr Edwards-Skadowska!

From our first session she made me feel heard and offered me new and different perspectives to my perceived reality and emotional reactions. Although some of the realisations were difficult to swallow at times, I feel that I now trust myself more and have found peace with core past traumas.

 I often remember Olena’s guidance and feel that I actively work to be vulnerable with those around me without shame…whilst also protecting myself as a priority, when needed. Overall, I’m a lot less emotionally reactive or suffering with anxiety or depression in the same heightened way.

I also keep trying to be kinder to myself rather than accept internal negative cues. The support and care she showed me has helped me to become more present and prioritise discovering my authentic wants and needs; to also acknowledge my auto pilot, and give myself space and self-compassion to feel whatever I may be processing. 

I thoroughly loved the process and will continue self-learning and healing. I know I have more work to do, but I guess that is all part of the journey: to incorporate small practices each day that continue the big growth.

I found Ming extremely relatable, caring and knowledgeable. 

 

For a lot of time, I have been having trouble with handling my emotions – I have ADHD and a big part of it, in my case, is Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria.  I thought I could never find help for this condition, as previous therapists did not understand the full picture of my struggles.

 

I think it really helps that Ming is very open that he has ADHD himself and was only diagnosed as a student; he has lived with the condition and really gets me. He paved the way for me not to suppress my emotions, but to face them and work through them, he gave me a good arsenal of tools and techniques to use, which also help with my anxiety and mood swings.

 

In my GCSE work, Ming’s ADHD and Motivational Performance Coaching has been a life saver as it helped me to establish healthy routines and practices, and feel less overwhelmed.

He also has an amazing sense of humour and it’s never a dull moment in our sessions.

I thoroughly recommend Ming as an ADHD/ Motivation Performance Coach as he tailors his sessions exactly to your needs, and he really cares!

Over the past few months, therapy has been a deeply supportive space for me — especially because I’m working with someone who truly understands traumatic brain injuries (TBI). For the first time in more than a couple of years, I’ve felt genuinely heard and understood, particularly in the context of being with a partner who has a brain injury.
